Dermody Properties Breaks Ground on 409,500 Square Feet Near Seattle
Dermody has broken ground on a new industrial park in Woodinville, Washington, east of Seattle. Known as LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville, the park will consist of two buildings totaling 409,500 square feet, with Building A covering 275,500 square feet and Building B covering the remaining 134,000. LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville will feature a total of 92 dock doors, eight grade-level doors, a 32-foot clear height and 489 car parking spaces. Construction is expected to be complete in the 4th Quarter. Both buildings are currently available.
“LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville is consistent with our strategy of developing modern logistics building in land-constrained markets,” said Douglas A. Kiersey Jr., President, Dermody Properties. “The market fundamentals in Seattle are very attractive.”
LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville is strategically located immediately off of Highway 522 at 7720 W. Bostian Rd., just six miles from Interstate 405. The location, combined with the development’s convenient truck maneuverability, make it ideal for distribution operations. The attractive design of the building fronts will take advantage of highway visibility and make this location great for distribution or manufacturing and a showroom. Located in the epicenter of Seattle’s Eastside, LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville is well-positioned to service national and international customers with speed and efficiency.
“This project showcases our team’s skill in developing flexible, modern facilities that meet the needs of our customers and enhance their distribution capabilities,” said Phillip Wood, Northwest Region Partner, Dermody Properties. “Dermody Properties has invested in more than 2.5 million square feet of new development and acquisitions in the Pacific Northwest in the past four years, and we are pleased to add LogistiCenter℠ at Woodinville to our portfolio.”
Kidder Mathews is marketing the property to potential tenants on behalf of Dermody Properties. The project was designed by Craft Architects, and Pennon Construction is the General Contractor.
Dermody Properties continues to seek additional opportunities for the acquisition and/or development of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing buildings and sites in the Northwest region.
