Full Lease-Up at Reno AirLogistics Park Signals Growing Demand in the North Valleys
Dermody announced that the inaugural building at Reno AirLogistics Park is fully leased, with NOW Foods and a Fortune 500 Midwest-based manufacturing company, which requested anonymity, both signing for space in the 468,740-square-foot facility located at 13000 Moya Boulevard.
“These two customers confirmed what we’ve believed about the North Valleys for years: this submarket offers the labor force, the infrastructure, and the cost advantage that logistics customers require,” said John Ramous, Partner, Nevada Region, Dermody. “We’ve been investing here since we first extended Moya Boulevard for the Michelin facility three decades ago, and we continue to believe in the concept of a live-work community in the North Valleys.”
NOW Foods, a Bloomingdale, Illinois-based manufacturer of natural health and wellness products, is expanding its northern Nevada footprint with approximately 190,000 square feet within the building, its second Nevada facility.
The balance of the building, approximately 290,000 square feet, was leased to a new customer with Dermody. Represented by Chris Fairchild of Colliers, it sought a new, large-block Class A building in a strong Reno/Sparks labor market; the initial building at the Reno AirLogistics Park was one of the few available options at that scale. The facility will serve as its standalone West Coast distribution point.

A Legacy Investment in the North Valleys
Dermody’s presence in the North Valleys predates Reno AirLogistics Park by three decades, dating back to the company’s first extension of Moya Boulevard during construction of the Michelin facility. Fully funded by Dermody, the project represents a significant private investment in public infrastructure that supports the region’s growth and livability without taxpayer dollars. Paired with two named national customers completing the first building and being “pad ready” on its next 654,500-square-foot building, it’s a level of investment that distinguishes Dermody’s momentum from broader market activity in the submarket.
According to CBRE, the North Valleys also offer a measurable cost advantage: labor market data shows logistics wages in Reno running 7.9% to 19.7% below comparable coastal markets like San Francisco, San Jose and Long Beach, with manufacturing wage savings of 5.8% to 20.5% over those same markets plus Sacramento.
A Live-Work Community
Reno AirLogistics Park sits less than 10 miles from downtown Reno, adjacent to Reno-Stead Airport, connecting employers to a nearby workforce and shorter commutes. Spanning close to 900 acres, the park is designed to support distribution, e-commerce, manufacturing, aeronautics, and research and development users alongside the more than 9,000 families already living in the North Valleys. With more than 70,000 households and a labor force of 100,000 within 10 miles, Dermody has positioned Reno AirLogistics Park as part of a live-work model taking hold in fast-growing metros like Austin, Seattle and Atlanta—a place where the people building and running these facilities can also afford to live near them.
