Dermody has hired Jason Perlman, CFA, as Vice President of Investment Management.

In his role, Mr. Perlman will be immersed in industrial investment management through the pursuit of logistics real estate investment opportunities, assisting with in-depth deal evaluation and opportunity prioritization. Mr. Perlman will work closely with Tim Walsh, Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Dermody, on all aspects of the company’s investment activities.

“Dermody has built a strong reputation through its disciplined investment approach and deep understanding of the logistics sector,” said Perlman. “I’m excited to join a team that’s so intentional in its strategy and execution, and I look forward to contributing to the thoughtful growth of the platform in the years ahead.”

Prior to joining Dermody, Mr. Perlman was an Associate of Real Estate Investments at Brookfield Asset Management, where he worked on more than $2 billion of direct acquisitions and dispositions, financing and asset management across the logistics sector.

Mr. Perlman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on finance and real estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a globally recognized credential for investment management professionals from the CFA Institute.
