Dermody Leases LogistiCenter® at Bright Star to Corvant
Dermody announced that Corvant, which designs, builds and maintains mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems for the built environment, has fully leased the 113,865-square-foot LogistiCenter® at Bright Star in Douglasville, Georgia.
LogistiCenter® at Bright Star is a Class A, rear-load facility built to LEED certification standards that provides immediate access to Atlanta’s major transportation arteries. The building features 32-foot clear height, a 60-foot speed bay, 28 dock-high doors, two drive-in doors, approximately 90 auto parking spaces and ESFR fire protection.
Located on the I-20 West corridor in metro Atlanta, LogistiCenter® at Bright Star provides easy access to Atlanta’s major interstates and intermodal facilities as well as quick access back to the urban core of Atlanta.
“LogistiCenter® at Bright Star is situated in an ideal location along the I-20 West corridor to capitalize on regional growth, including growth in the data center industry, which has seen substantial investment in this part of metro Atlanta. This location will support Corvant’s business growth in the region,” said Wes Hardy, Southeast Region Partner at Dermody. “The immediate availability of the building allowed Corvant to move in and begin operations right away, without the time or cost of retrofitting a new space.”
Corvant has been in business in Douglasville since 1962, and this lease expands its regional footprint. The facility filled a need for modern space to support its growth.
“LogistiCenter® at Bright Star met all of our requirements for a logistics facility in this area,” said Tim Henry, Vice President of Mission Critical at Corvant. “The location and ease of access were a major consideration for our team in expanding our regional presence. LogistiCenter® at Bright Star will make a wonderful home for Corvant as we celebrate more than 50 years serving our customers. We appreciate Dermody’s partnership in this process.”
