Guidelines for Application
Dermody Properties believes in corporate philanthropy. Corporate financial institutions help to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community. We have chosen to support and sustain organizations that focus on the arts, education and the family, with special emphasis on children, the elderly, the disabled, substance abuse and the homeless.
Corporate contributions are made possible by the hard work and dedication of all the employees at Dermody Properties. The Dermody Properties Foundation is a charitable organization established by the employees of Dermody Properties to benefit the citizens of the communities in which we do business.
Organizations must be located within 30 miles of one of our current projects to qualify.
The foundation staff strives to evaluate requests in a timely and efficient manner. To ensure this, please make certain that each grant request includes a copy of the following:
- Completed online grant request application above
- IRS verification of 501 (c) (3) status
- Board of Directors list
- Current operating budget
Grants typically range from $500 to $3,000.
Applications are available beginning in June and all requests for funding must be submitted online by August 1st of each year.
Initially all requests are evaluated by the foundation administrator. The foundation’s Board of Directors then reviews each grant request and is solely responsible for making the final determination at their annual meeting in November.
