The Dermody Properties Team

Jim Nass is Senior Vice President of Development for Dermody Properties. Based in Chicago, he is responsible for providing due diligence, design, entitlement, budget and construction oversight for both investment developments for lease and build-to-suit projects.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties in 2020, Mr. Nass was Vice President, Regional Property Improvement and Development Manager at Prologis. In that role, Mr. Nass oversaw both build-to-suit and fee development projects throughout Chicago, Tennessee and Indianapolis. While at Prologis and for more than 23 years, he was also a member of its North American Development Group.

Prior to joining Prologis, Mr. Nass spent seven years as a Project Manager at Opus North Corporation, where he was responsible for the design and construction of office, industrial and retail facilities in the Chicagoland area.

Mr. Nass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and is a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional.
