Dermody Properties Welcomes Daniel R. Meador as Senior Vice President, National Leasing

We have recently hired logistics real estate veteran Daniel R. Meador as Senior Vice President, National Leasing.

Meador will lead national leasing initiatives for the company’s robust and expanding portfolio and will continue growing customer and third-party broker relationships. He brings more than 30 years of real estate experience to Dermody Properties, including 11 years in the logistics sector.

“I look forward to joining Dermody Properties and contributing to the company’s continued growth across the U.S.,” said Meador. “We see an abundance of opportunity in many regions of the country and will continue to seek out unique and strategic solutions for our customers.”

Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Meador served as Regional Director/Market Leader for First Industrial Realty Trust where he oversaw capital deployment, leasing, property operations and strategic dispositions for a 5-million-square-foot industrial portfolio in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville. During this time, he completed nearly 400 leasing transactions representing more than 6 million square feet of occupied space.

Previously, Meador was Senior Vice President with Kite Realty Group, where he oversaw asset management and leasing activities for a national portfolio of retail shopping centers. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President and Market Officer at Prologis, representing an 11-million-square-foot portfolio in Indianapolis, and where he completed more than 300 lease transactions and executed on nearly 3 million square feet of new development.
