The Dermody Properties Team

Willie Carr, CFA, is the Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at Dermody Properties. At our corporate office in Reno, Nevada, he works closely with our Executive Vice President of Finance to develop and execute all key reporting, budgeting and forecasting of the corporate entity and investment platforms.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Mr. Carr served as the Director of Finance at Basin Street Properties, a vertically integrated real estate development and operating company. In this role, he oversaw a five-million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio of legally complex, individual LLCs and ran a team with assets under management of $1 billion. Mr. Carr was a key contributor who focused on company-wide strategy, in addition to implementing processes and procedures to support the anticipated growth of the company. 

With over a decade of finance experience, he has also held other positions in a wide range of industries including corporate finance, defense contracting, private equity, real estate and banking which have helped him develop his skills in problem-solving, analysis and strategizing. 

Mr. Carr graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance major and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation from the CFA Institute.
