The Dermody Properties Team

Tony Powell is the Senior Vice President of Finance at Dermody Properties and oversees reporting and underwriting activities and manages the finance teams across various region offices.

Mr. Powell has more than 20 years of experience in industrial real estate including tax and financial analysis. Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Mr. Powell was the Senior Vice President of Financial Analysis at Duke Realty Corporation where he was responsible for providing guidance and leadership to his team of analysts and working with market leaders to provide analytical and financial strategy ensuring that development projects, acquisitions, dispositions and lease transactions were underwritten and evaluated according to Company policy. Mr. Powell has also worked in public accounting.

Mr. Powell is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the AICPA and the INCPAS. Mr. Powell holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University and resides in Indianapolis with his wife and five children.
