Dermody Announces Two New Leases at The Logistics Campus

Dermody announces two new leases at The Logistics Campus. LSL Industries, LLC has leased 81,225 square feet of Building 4 and S&C Electric Company has fully leased Building 5, a 295,278 SF facility.

Positioned in Glenview, Illinois, just north of O’Hare International Airport, one of Chicago’s most active submarkets, The Logistics Campus is centrally located with proximity to a wide range of amenities. The campus offers customers access to a labor pool of more than 774,000 within a 10-mile radius. Upon completion, The Logistics Campus will total more than 3.2 million SF of Class A logistics space across a planned 10-building development.

“We welcome LSL Industries and S&C Electric Company to The Logistics Campus,” said Neal Driscoll, Midwest Region Partner at Dermody. “With state-of-the-art specifications designed for ease of occupancy and unmatched access to I-294 and O’Hare International Airport, The Logistics Campus is well positioned to support both companies’ long-term operational and logistics needs.”

LSL Industries, LLC, is an Illinois-based manufacturer of disposable medical devices, surgical procedure kits and hospital supplies. Its move to The Logistics Campus is expected to improve LSL’s distribution efficiency and storage capacity while allowing the company to consolidate operations and drive cost savings over time.

“The Logistics Campus provides our company with a modern, purpose-built space that matches our operational needs with scalability for future growth,” said Adrian Kimber, CEO. “We expect to employ more than 250 people at the facility, creating a positive impact on the local economy through job creation and increased business activity.”

S&C Electric Company is a Chicago-based global provider of technology and services for resilient and reliable electric power systems. For more than a century, S&C has helped transform electricity distribution. Powered by team member expertise and precision engineering, S&C delivers field-proven technologies that strengthen resilience, enhance reliability, and provide greater visibility and control across the distribution grid.

Suzanne Serino, Johnathan Kohn and Christopher Volkert of Colliers represented Dermody in the transactions. Sam Badger and David Prell of CBRE represented LSL Industries, and Sally Macoicz, Matthew Saddler and Christopher Johnke of Cushman & Wakefield represented S&C Electric Company.

Three remaining spaces at The Logistics Campus are available for occupancy ranging from 66,000 SF to 160,000 SF.  With the completion of Phase I, Phase II of The Logistics Campus features 77 acres of fully entitled, shovel-ready property with flexibility to accommodate build to suit or land sales for a variety of building sizes and layouts.

Dermody is committed to sustainable design and supporting customers’ sustainable operating goals. Buildings 1-5 are LEED Silver certified in recognition of this environmentally conscious redevelopment project.
