December 17, 2011 – Dermody Properties announced Friday its 2011 recipients of the Thanksgiving Capstone Award, granted annually to local nonprofits during the holiday season. The Food Bank of Northern Nevada (FBNN) received $25,000 to support its ongoing programs, including the purchase for 100,000 meals for more than 14,600 families.

“Food is the thread that runs through everything,” said FBNN President Cherie Jamason. “This is a gift that will help touch everybody.”
