The Dermody Properties Team

Karsen Keever is Senior Vice President of Development for Dermody Properties. Based in Seattle, he is responsible for providing due diligence, design, entitlement, budget and construction oversight for both investment developments for lease and build-to-suit projects.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties in 2020, Mr. Keever served as Director for Jon Graves Architects and Planners where he oversaw and managed architectural office enterprise. There, he also managed project entitlements and teams on multiple high-profile projects on behalf of developers in Washington and California, totaling approximately $150 million.

Earlier in his career, Keever was a Project Manager at Absher Construction, where his duties included oversight and management of a $95 million hotel and apartment tower; the first high-rise building in the city of Tukwila, Washington.

Keever holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics and government from the University of Puget Sound and is an accredited professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, specializing in Interior Design and Construction (LEED AP ID+C). Additionally, Keever is a volunteer board member for the Tacoma Community Redevelopment Authority (TCRA).
