The Dermody Properties Team

Aaron Anderson is Vice President of Development for Dermody Properties in the Southern California region. Based in Orange County, he is responsible for providing due diligence, design, entitlement, budget and construction oversight for investment developments including lease, build-to-suit and tenant improvement projects.

Prior to joining the Dermody Properties team in 2024, Mr. Anderson served as Senior Director of Development at Public Storage. In this role, he was integral in delivering approximately 2.5 million square feet of the warehouse and storage facility projects. Many of these projects involved brownfield, redevelopment and extensive demolition components.

With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Anderson has developed a diverse range of projects, from retail and cold storage to mission-critical utility and telecommunications infrastructure. While the bulk of his career has been focused on Southern California, his development expertise spans a broad geographic region, including projects across all Western states, from Colorado to Hawaii.

Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, with a specialization in Engineering, from the University of California, Irvine.
