Tyler Scheppmann
Senior Vice President, Investor Relations

Tyler Scheppmann is Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Dermody Properties. Based in Denver, he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business related to investor relations, fund strategy and capital execution. Since 2019, he has been an integral part in raising over $4 billion of equity from global institutional investor partners. Mr. Scheppmann is also an active member of the firm’s ESG working group which publishes an annual ESG report and develops a road map for ESG areas of focus annually.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties in 2019, Mr. Scheppmann was Vice President of GLP where he was responsible for fund management across the U.S. industrial platform, including strategy, syndication and communication with 14 global institutional fund partners across three funds totaling $7 billion in equity commitments. He also worked with internal groups to ensure alignment with the strategic targets of each fund.

Prior to his role at GLP, Mr. Scheppmann served as Manager of Corporate Finance at Brookfield Properties Retail Group (formerly GGP) with responsibilities covering finance, investments and capital markets. He also worked in sell-side mergers and acquisitions investment banking with Lincoln International and BMO Capital Markets.

Mr. Scheppmann holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa, where he was an active member of the Hawkinson Scholars Program and Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. He has previously held Series 7 & 63 accreditations as well as an Iowa Real Estate Sales License. Mr. Scheppmann is active in various industry groups including PREA, AFRIE, IREI and NAREIM, for which he also serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Capital Raising & Investor Relations planning committee.
