The Dermody Team

Robert Borny is a Partner at Dermody and is responsible for all land and building acquisitions, build-to-suit projects, development activities and asset management in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, New York, Maryland and Virginia. He is based in the Dermody East Region office in Iselin, New Jersey.

Mr. Borny has 20 years of experience in the industrial real estate development and investment industries. Prior to joining Dermody, Mr. Borny was a Director at HFF in New Jersey, where he was responsible for sourcing and marketing industrial investment property sales.  Mr. Borny has also held positions as a Senior Consultant for the Altus Group and as a Sales Associate with NAI James E. Hanson, where he focused on industrial sales and leasing throughout northern New Jersey.

Mr. Borny is a designated Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and member of NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute and the Industrial & Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA). Mr. Borny holds a B.A. from Tufts University and resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
