As Dermody Properties’ Partner, Patrick Gallagher is responsible for the company’s regional portfolio as well as new office and industrial build-to-suit projects, acquisitions and dispositions in the Southwest Region. Leveraging his expansive knowledge of national office and industrial markets, Mr. Gallagher is spearheading Dermody Properties’ ambitious industrial development program.
With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Gallagher has completed more than $1.8 billion commercial real estate office and industrial transactions. He currently is playing key roles in the development, leasing, and sales of over 3.9 million square feet of Class A office space and 11.5 million square feet of investment-grade industrial projects. He has extensive experience in industrial and office development, from land acquisition to project completion, nationwide. He has developed projects in Chicago, Phoenix, Indianapolis, and the very competitive Inland Empire Market in Southern California.
Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Mr. Gallagher held the position of Senior Vice President at The Alter Group. During his tenure at The Alter Group, Mr. Gallagher was responsible for identifying and managing new development opportunities across the country. He oversaw property identification, business plan development and implementation, leasing and sales strategies, and finances. Prior to joining The Alter Group, Mr. Gallagher held senior positions at Trammel Crow Company and Pizzuti Companies. Earlier in his career, he was a corporate services broker and led the AT&T account in the Midwest for over 5 years while at Stein & Company based in Chicago.
Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Benedictine University. He is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute Council and the NAIOP Industrial Forum.
