Matthew Mexia
Partner, Southern California

Matthew Mexia is Partner, Southern California at Dermody Properties, and oversees the region’s portfolio. He is responsible for the sourcing and execution of acquisition and development opportunities in the southern California market, consistent with Dermody Properties’ strategy of acquiring and developing Class A logistics facilities in infill submarkets. He also leads asset management and customer relations for the region.

Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Mr. Mexia served as a Managing Partner at Industrial Capital Advisors, Inc. where he co-managed the firm in sourcing industrial acquisition and development opportunities for institutional clients and capital partners.

In addition, Mr. Mexia served as Vice President of Capital Markets Services at DTZ where he coordinated investment offerings, provided transaction services and strategic planning to investors and global corporate clients across the Western United States.

Mr. Mexia is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP). He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and has his California Real Estate Broker License.

Mr. Mexia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and resides in Orange County with his wife and three children.
