The Dermody Team

Mark Lewis is Senior Vice President of Development for Southern California at Dermody.  He is responsible for providing due diligence, entitlement, design, budget, and construction oversight for speculative and build-to-suit development projects in the Southern California region.

Prior to joining Dermody, Mr. Lewis served as Senior Development Manager at Panattoni Development Company, where he managed the development of approximately 10.7 million square feet of single- and multi-tenant, ground-up industrial projects across the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles County.  He was responsible for all phases of the development process, including due diligence, entitlements, coordination with local jurisdictions, budgeting, management of design teams, and oversight of construction operations to ensure successful project execution.

Previously, Mr. Lewis was a Project Manager at Panattoni Construction, where he oversaw the construction of a diverse portfolio of ground-up industrial, retail, and specialized tenant improvement projects throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County.  In this capacity, he collaborated closely with the development team at Panattoni Development Company during both the preconstruction and construction phases, with responsibilities that included budget preparation, schedule development, and managing projects through completion.

In addition, Mr. Lewis worked as a Project Engineer at W.L. Butler Construction, where he managed the construction of various retail and tenant improvement projects, including both speculative and build-to-suit developments.

Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego and resides in Southern California.
