Amy Curry serves as Chief Strategy Officer at Dermody, where she is responsible for driving growth across the company’s existing and future development and joint venture platforms. A member of the Dermody Executive and Investment Committee, she brings approximately 25 years of experience in commercial real estate to her role.
Prior to joining Dermody, Ms. Curry served as Executive Vice President at Hillwood, where she held multiple leadership roles focused on sourcing and stabilizing industrial joint ventures, developments, and acquisitions. During her tenure, she sourced or executed more than 7 million square feet of joint ventures valued in excess of $625 million and was involved in more than 10.5 million square feet of industrial development throughout the east region.
Before Hillwood, Ms. Curry held senior leadership positions at GLP, IndCor (a Blackstone Company), and First Industrial. At GLP, she oversaw asset management for 90 million square feet of industrial product across 20 markets in the eastern United States and supported portfolio acquisitions totaling more than $5.5 billion in value.
Ms. Curry holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University. She also completed the Advanced Management Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
An active industry leader, Ms. Curry has served on the boards of the Georgia chapters of NAIOP, CSCMP, and CCIM. She currently serves on NAIOP’s Corporate Board and is a member of NAIOP’s E-Commerce I National Forum. She also serves as Vice Chair of one of the Urban Land Institute’s Industrial and Office Park Development Councils, and is a member of IREOC, an AFIRE mentor, and serves on the Research Committee for the Real Estate Roundtable.
