Phase 1 of The Logistics Campus Achieves LEED Silver Certification
Dermody Properties is pleased to announce that all five buildings of Phase 1 at The Logistics Campus have achieved LEED Silver certification.
Dermody Properties demonstrated its commitment to delivering sustainable, best-in-class logistics facilities to customers by following the LEED framework for highly efficient, cost-saving green buildings.
From its inception, The Logistics Campus was planned as an environmentally-conscious redevelopment project. During the building process, Dermody Properties recycled 11,000 tons of materials for reuse on site, incorporated existing ponds and saved and transplanted hundreds of trees in order to execute this vision.
“The LEED Silver certification requires great teamwork from the design phase to construction,” said Neal Driscoll, Midwest Region Partner for Dermody Properties. “We would like to recognize Pinnacle Engineering, Partners In Design Architects, Premier Design Build Group and GAIA Development for their partnership and collaboration.”
The Logistics Campus is a planned 10-building logistics park totaling 3,238,548 square feet located in the prime Chicago submarket. Construction was recently completed on Phase 1 of The Logistics Campus, and four buildings are currently available for occupancy totaling 698,201 SF.
