Dermody Properties Hires Senior Vice President of Development, Midwest Region

Dermody Properties has hired 25-year real estate industry veteran Lou Berchicci as the company’s Senior Vice President of Development, Midwest Region. Berchicci will be based in our Midwest Region Office in Chicago.

Berchicci is responsible for overseeing the design, entitlement, budget and construction for speculative and build-to-suit development in the Midwest markets. Berchicci will also provide the construction management for tenant improvements, capital improvements and major building renovations. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP).

Prior to joining Dermody Properties, Berchicci completed seven million square feet of industrial built-to-suit projects and 6.8 million square feet of speculative buildings. Berchicci held senior development roles at KTR, First Industrial Trust and Prologis. He specializes in state-of-the-art industrial development, including high-hazard, refrigerated and FDA approved facilities.
