Dermody Supports Chicago’s Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign by Donating 20,000 Square Feet of Space at The Logistics Campus

The Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign distributes more than 97,000 toys during the holiday season, supporting nearly 80,000 children

Dermody is pleased to announce its participation in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. This year, a 20,000 square-foot portion of Building 1 at The Logistics Campus will be the headquarters to the Chicago-area toy collection and distribution efforts. Happening now through Dec. 11, 2026, Chicago Toys for Tots is accepting, sorting, packaging and delivering thousands of toys to local children from this make-shift North Pole location all in support of those in need throughout the holiday season.

“It’s meaningful for our team to support a program that delivers so much cheer during the holidays,” said Neal Driscoll, Midwest Region Partner at Dermody. “Offering space for this year’s Toys for Tots effort is a simple way we can give back to the Chicago community we care deeply about.”

The facility, located at 2600 Sanders Road in Glenview, Ill., provides Toys for Tots volunteers and Marines with the necessary space to organize toy donations from local businesses, community groups and individuals across the region. Chicago Toys for Tots is accepting new, unwrapped toys at this location from 9 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday.

Several Chicago-area companies are also supporting this year’s holiday toy operation, including Big Bus Tours Chicago, which is using its iconic double-decker buses to collect and deliver toys to the facility, and PREMIER Design + Build Group, which donated dumpsters for toy packaging and box recycling and disposal.

“Through the gift of a new toy, we help bring the joy of the holidays and a message of hope to Chicago’s less fortunate children,” said Gunnery Sergeant Nieves, a Marine with the 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines and organizer of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Chicago program. “Last year, we distributed 97,034 toys to more than 78,000 children, and the need continues to grow. We are grateful to Dermody for providing space at The Logistics Campus as our holiday headquarters, which allows us to reach even more families across the region this season.”

Chicago Toys for Tots will host a Big Bus Toy Express broadcast event on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, a community toy drive in partnership with Big Bus Tours and ABC 7 Chicago. A team of approximately 10 Dermody employees, along with their broker partners from Colliers and employees from Premier, will be onsite at The Logistics Campus to help unload the bus.

“We’re proud to enter our second year of the Big Bus Toy Express in the Chicago area and thrilled to partner with Dermody on this year’s effort,” said Big Bus Tours’ Senior Vice President and General Manager John Curran. “Dermody’s generosity in providing space for the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots’ Chicago headquarters brings great happiness to families across the region. We’ll enjoy culminating our community toy collection tour with ABC 7 Chicago at The Logistics Campus on December 12, and bring holiday joy to children across the area.”
