Jason Perlman is a Vice President of Investment Management at Dermody, where he is responsible for evaluating and executing logistics real estate investment opportunities across the country. He works closely with the firm’s Chief Investment Officer on all aspects of the company’s investment strategy, including underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio formation.

Prior to joining Dermody, Mr. Perlman was with Brookfield Asset Management, where he played an integral role in closing more than $2.0 billion in industrial real estate transactions across the East Coast. His responsibilities spanned the full investment lifecycle, from thesis development and due diligence to legal negotiations, investment committee presentations, and ultimately disposition of the investment.

Before Brookfield, Mr. Perlman was at PGIM Real Estate, where he closed over $2.1 billion in financings across the capital stack and a variety of property types. His work included portfolio-level industrial deals, multifamily Fannie Mae financing, and high-yield debt originations through PGIM’s bridge lending platform.

Mr. Perlman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and holds a Charter Financial Analyst® designation from the CFA Institute.
